Description

Crispy tortilla folded over melted Nutella and warm, caramelized banana slices, finished with cinnamon sugar. Five minutes in the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 4 flour tortillas, 8-inch
  • ½ cup Nutella
  • 2 large bananas, sliced ¼-inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Stir the sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl. Set aside.
  • Spread 2 tablespoons of Nutella over half of each tortilla, leaving a ½-inch border around the edge.
  • Arrange banana slices in a single layer over the Nutella.
  • Fold the empty half over the filling and press gently. Brush the top with melted butter.
  • Place in the air fryer basket in a single layer, buttered side up. Air fry at 350°F for 5 minutes, flipping at 3 minutes and brushing the second side with butter.
  • When golden and crisp at the edges, remove and sprinkle immediately with cinnamon sugar while the surface is still buttery.
  • Rest 1 minute, cut into wedges, and serve warm.

Equipment

  • Perforated air fryer liner
  • Pastry Brush
  • Pizza Cutter

Notes

  • Basket air fryers typically finish at 5 minutes; oven-style models may need 6 to 7. Check at 4 the first time.
  • Two tablespoons of Nutella per tortilla is the ceiling before it escapes the fold.
  • Leftovers keep 2 days refrigerated. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 2–3 minutes. Do not microwave.
