Description

These Air Fryer Baking Powder Biscuits light and fluffy biscuits are perfect for a quick and easy breakfast or snack. And thanks to the air fryer, they're crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. So good, you'll never want to make regular biscuits again!

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons butter, cold butter
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for a few minutes to ensure it's hot and ready for baking.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt until well combined.
  • Cut 1/3 cup of cold butter into small cubes and add it to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to incorporate the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Gradually pour in 3/4 cup of milk while stirring the mixture with a fork or spatula until a soft dough forms. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead it a few times until it comes together. Pat the dough into a circle about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Use a biscuit cutter or the rim of a glass to cut out biscuits from the dough. Gather any scraps and reshape them to cut out more biscuits.
  • Place the biscuits in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each biscuit for air circulation. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook the biscuits in batches.
  • Air fry the biscuits at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the biscuits from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy them warm with butter, jam, or your favorite toppings.
