Ingredients 

  • 2 large pears, halved and cored
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts or pecans, optional

Instructions

  • Wash and dry the pears. Slice them in half lengthwise and remove the cores.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
  • Place the pear halves into the air fryer basket with the cut side facing upward.
  • Add small pieces of butter to the center of each pear.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the pears.
  • Add chopped nuts if using.
  • Air fry at 370 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes, or until tender.
  • Remove from the air fryer and drizzle with honey.
  • Serve warm with ice cream, whipped cream, or yogurt.
