Crispy bacon, a soft-set egg, and melted cheese on toasted bread — all cooked in one air fryer basket in about 20 minutes.

1slicecheese, American, cheddar, Swiss, or gouda
1teaspoonbutter, optional
1/4teaspoonkosher salt
1/8teaspoonblack pepper
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (199°C) for 3 minutes.
Lay the bacon in a single layer in the basket. Cook 8–10 minutes until crisp, checking at 7. Transfer to a paper towel–lined plate.
Grease a small heatproof ramekin. Crack in the egg, season with salt and pepper, and cook at 370°F (188°C) for 3 minutes (runny), 4 minutes (jammy), or 5 minutes (set).
Butter one side of each bread slice. Toast butter-side up at 370°F (188°C) for 2–3 minutes.
Layer bacon on the bottom slice, then the egg, then the cheese. Top with the second slice.
Return the assembled sandwich to the basket at 330°F (166°C) for 1 minute to finish melting the cheese.
