Ingredients
1poundlarge sea scallops
1tablespoonextra virgin olive oil
1/2teaspoongarlic powder, ensure AIP compliance
1/4teaspoonsea salt
Fresh lemon juice, from about half a lemon
Instructions
Start by patting the 1 pound large sea scallops dry with paper towels.
In a bowl, gently toss the scallops with 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/4 teaspoon sea salt.
Set your air fryer temperature to 400 degrees F (about 200°C), preheat for 2-3 minutes.
Place the scallops in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Set cook time for 6-8 minutes, or until they are opaque and slightly firm to the touch.
Once cooked, immediately transfer the scallops to a serving dish. Squeeze fresh Fresh lemon juice over the top just before serving.
Oven Method: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place seasoned scallops on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, turning halfway through for even searing.Skillet Option: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with AIP-compliant oil. Sear scallops 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
