Description

Elevate your appetizer game with Million Dollar Deviled Eggs, a luxurious twist on the classic dish. With premium ingredients and creative variations, these deviled eggs are sure to impress at any gathering, from casual get-togethers to upscale events.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish, optional

Instructions

  • Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with water. Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer and cook the eggs for 10-12 minutes. Once cooked, transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool.
  • Once the eggs are cool enough to handle, carefully peel them and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
  • Mash the egg yolks with a fork until smooth. Stir in the sweet pickle juice, butter, crumbled bacon, mustard, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture into the hollowed-out egg whites, dividing it evenly among them.
  • If desired, sprinkle the filled deviled eggs with paprika for a finishing touch.
  • Refrigerate the deviled eggs for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Saucepan

Notes

To make hard-boiled eggs in the air fryer, follow these simple steps:
  1. Start by placing the desired number of eggs in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are arranged in a single layer and not overcrowded.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 270°F (130°C) for about 5 minutes.
  3. Once the air fryer is preheated, carefully place the eggs in the basket and set the timer for 15 minutes.
  4. After 15 minutes, remove the eggs from the air fryer and immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water to cool rapidly. This helps in easy peeling and prevents the eggs from overcooking.
  5. Let the eggs sit in the ice water bath for about 5 minutes.
  6. Once cooled, gently tap each egg on a hard surface to crack the shell, then peel away the shell under running water.
