Description

Something is comforting about having a great bowl of Air Fryer Baked Oatmeal on a cold winter morning. Today, I made a simple batch of oatmeal in my air fryer, which was fabulous.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1 large egg, or flax egg for a vegan option
  • ½ cup milk, dairy or plant-based
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt

Optional mix-ins: berries, nuts, chocolate chips, or dried fruit

    Instructions

    • In a bowl, combine rolled oats, mashed banana, egg, and milk.
    • Add honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, baking powder, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined.
    • Fold in any optional mix-ins.
    • Grease a small, air fryer-safe baking dish.
    • Transfer the oatmeal mixture to the dish.
    • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
    • Cook for 15-20 minutes, or until set and slightly golden.
    • Let it cool for a few minutes.
    • Serve warm with additional toppings if desired.
