There is nothing better than making a homemade Peppermint Hot Chocolate. Today, I made an Instant Pot Peppermint Mocha Coffee Creamer and added it some to my children's hot chocolate, to make a special treat.
Ingredients
14ouncessweetened condensed milk
1 ½cupsmilk, milk of your choice–I used 1% but whole milk will provide you the creamiest consistency.
2teaspoonsvanilla extract
1teaspoonpeppermint extract
3tablespoonsbaking cocoa
Instructions
Mix all of your ingredients in a blender, or whisk. If you use a whisk, make sure everything is well incorporated.
Add your blended ingredients to 2-pint size mason jars. Close them with canning jar lids. (Do not use plastic mason jar lids in the instant pot!)
Add 1 cup of water to the bottom of your instant pot. Place the trivet inside with the two mason jars on the trivet.
Set your instant pot to high pressure for 1 minute. This will make sure that all of the ingredients solidify together, especially the two extracts.
Place in the fridge, or transfer to a larger container, for two hours or until ready to serve.
