Description

This was such a great and easy lunch idea. Today, I fired up my Kalorik and came up with this amazing and easy Air Fryer Pepper & Onion Flatbread.

Ingredients

  • 1 piece flatbread
  • 1 large red onion, sliced
  • 2 cups Mozzarella or Pepper Jack Cheese, shredded
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce, or pizza sauce
  • 1 large red, green, yellow, or orange bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup jalapeno pepper, sliced pickled
  • 2-3 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  • Spray your air fryer basket or tray, then place the focaccia bread on the tray. Then spread Tomato Sauce over the focaccia bread.
  • Cut your red onion into slices and your red peppers into strips. Then add about 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil to a small skillet, and saute the red peppers and onions until soft, about 5-6 minutes.
  • Add the sauteed vegetables, then sprinkle the sliced jalapeno and cheese over the top. Place into the air fryer for 5-9 minutes at 400 degrees F, air fryer setting.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!

Equipment

  • Air Fryer, Basket or Oven Model
  • Cooking Spray
