This was such a great and easy lunch idea. Today, I fired up my Kalorik and came up with this amazing and easy Air Fryer Pepper & Onion Flatbread.
Ingredients
1pieceflatbread
1largered onion, sliced
2cupsMozzarella or Pepper Jack Cheese, shredded
8ouncestomato sauce, or pizza sauce
1largered, green, yellow, or orange bell pepper
1/2cup jalapeno pepper, sliced pickled
2-3tablespoonsolive oil
Instructions
Spray your air fryer basket or tray, then place the focaccia bread on the tray. Then spread Tomato Sauce over the focaccia bread.
Cut your red onion into slices and your red peppers into strips. Then add about 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil to a small skillet, and saute the red peppers and onions until soft, about 5-6 minutes.
Add the sauteed vegetables, then sprinkle the sliced jalapeno and cheese over the top. Place into the air fryer for 5-9 minutes at 400 degrees F, air fryer setting.
