Description

Creamy Roasted Red Pepper Sauce --I'm on a mission to create the perfect pasta sauce. I've been making Roasted Red Pepper Sauce for years, and it is my favorite go-to recipe when I don't know what else to make. It's rich, creamy, and delicious on any pasta (spaghetti, linguine, fettuccini). This sauce can be made in minutes and will satisfy any craving you have!

Ingredients 

  • 16 ounces roasted red peppers, drained
  • 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  • Add the roasted bell peppers to a blender or food processor, blend until smooth. In a small skillet, add the butter and garlic saute for about 30 seconds, until fragrant. Add the peppers, basil, and pepper, and mix well.
  • Over low-medium heat, simmer for about 10 minutes until the sauce has thickened. Pour in the heavy cream, and mix until smooth.
  • Store in an airtight container until ready for use.
