Description

Air Fryer Frittata is one of the greased air fryer breakfasts you can make. I loaded mine up with lots and lots of fresh vegetables, and it is a protein-rich meal, KETO friendly, and low-carb friendly. That will help you get going in the morning.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1/4 cup onions, diced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Ensure all your fillings are pre-cooked if necessary (such as bacon, sausage, or onions) and chopped into small pieces. This ensures they'll cook evenly within the frittata.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk (or cream), salt, and pepper until well combined. The addition of milk or cream helps create a creamy texture in the frittata.
  • Stir in your choice of fillings into the egg mixture. If using cheese, reserve some to sprinkle on top of the frittata before cooking.
  • Lightly grease an air fryer-safe pan that fits inside your air fryer basket. A round cake pan or a specific air fryer accessory pan works well for this.
  • Pour the egg and filling mixture into the prepared pan. Gently tap the pan on the counter to remove any air bubbles and ensure an even distribution of fillings.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C) for about 3 minutes. Preheating helps the frittata start cooking immediately and evenly.
  • Place the pan in the air fryer basket and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the frittata is set and the top is golden. The exact cooking time may vary depending on the air fryer model and the thickness of the frittata.
  • Use a toothpick or a knife to check the center of the frittata. It should come out clean when the frittata is fully cooked.
  • Carefully remove the pan from the air fryer and let the frittata cool for a few minutes before slicing. This resting period allows the frittata to set, making it easier to slice and serve.

Equipment
