Description

This is an amazing easy appetizer, to serve. It’s a twist on the traditional loaded baked potato.

Ingredients

  • 2 large Russet potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt, or sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Toppings: Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Cooked Bacon, Sour Cream, etc.

    Instructions

    • Wash and Dry the potatoes with cold water, and then dry them with paper towels or kitchen towels. Cut the potatoes into 1/3 to 1/2 inch thick using a sharp knife. Place the potato slices into a large bowl.
    • Add the olive oil and seasonings, and toss well to coat the potatoes.
    • Place the potatoes into the air fryer basket in a single layer, set the cooking temperature to 370 degrees F using the air fryer setting, and set the cooking time for 10-15 minutes. For best results, flip the potatoes halfway during the cooking process. Remove when fork tender and golden brown.
    • Add your favorite toppings. If you want melty cheese, add the chees to the potato slices, and allow the air fryer to cook for 2-3 minutes more.

    Equipment

    • Air Fryer
    • Cooking Spray
