Ingredients 

Dough:

  • 1 1/2 cup water, warm
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt, or adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter, room temperature
  • 4 cups flour, all-purpose

Topping:

  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted, unsalted
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, add the yeast, warm water, and sugar. Within 5 minutes, the yeast should start to foam, and if it does not continue, it means that the yeast is old or expired. This recipe will not work.
  • After 5 minutes, notice the foam.
  • Add the salt, flour, and butter.
  • Once the dough is mixed, knead for a few minutes.
  • Shape the bread into long breadsticks, sit for about an hour (they will double in size), and then brush the melted butter on top and sprinkle with Italian seasonings.
  • Set the breadsticks into the air fryer and set the temperature to 320 degrees F for 5 minutes. (air fryer setting)
  • Plate, serve and enjoy!
