Description

Air Fryer Italian Meatball and Biscuit Bake --This recipe for Italian Meatball and Biscuit Bake is a flavorful dish that will have you coming back for seconds. The meatballs are light, fluffy, and bursting with flavor, while the biscuits have a buttery crunch on top. This dish takes just minutes to prepare in your air fryer, so it's perfect for an easy weeknight dinner!

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces meatballs, frozen or homemade
  • 1 package buttermilk biscuits
  • 14 ounces marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Start with defrosted meatballs. Or, if you are using homemade, use room-temperature meatballs.
  • Then cut your biscuit dough into about 1-inch pieces.
  • In a large bowl, combine the meatballs, cut-up biscuit dough, and sauce. Mix well, so all of the biscuits and meatballs are covered with sauce.
  • Pour the meatball/biscuit/pasta sauce into a greased air fryer pan (if it is oven safe, it is usually air fryer safe)
  • Place the pan into the air fryer, and set the temperature to 340 degrees F for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, check and see if the dough is cooked; if not, add another few minutes. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top after you have determined that the biscuits are cooked, and just set it for about a minute, or just stand near the air fryer and once the cheese is melted, remove from the air fryer.
  • Plate, serve and enjoy!

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
