Description

Air Fryer Teriyaki Chicken Bowl -- Do you love delicious and convenient meals that come together in no time?

Ingredients 

Chicken:

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Homemade Teriyaki Sauce: (Omit if using store-bought teriyaki sauce)

  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons  rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 cloves  garlic , minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Serving:

  • 1 stalk green onions, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Add the chicken, olive oil, salt, and pepper to a large bowl, and toss well to coat.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees f for 2-3 minutes; then place the chicken into the bottom of the basket in a single layer, and set the cooking time for 10-5 minutes.
  • Remove the chicken when the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees F by using a meat thermometer and inserting it into the thickest part of the chicken.
  • .Add your sauce ingredients to a small bowl, and mix well until blended. In a small saucepan, cook over medium-high heat until warmed through; it will start to thicken. Be careful to keep on stirring before removing it from the heat.
  • Dice your chicken into bite-sized pieces, and toss with the sauce. Serve with sesame seeds or diced green onions.
