Description

If you are unfamiliar with peanut butter pie, it's one of the old southern classics. It is made with a graham cracker crust and a filling of peanut butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and sugar. I topped it off today with whipped cream and some peanut butter pieces.

Ingredients 

Crust:

  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted, and unsalted

Peanut Butter Filling:

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 8 tablespoons powdered sugar

Optional: For serving whipped cream, mini peanut butter chips, etc.

    Instructions

    • In a small mixing bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
    • Once the crumbs and melted butter have been mixed, press them firmly into a greased ramekin.
    • Set the ramekins into the air fryer at 330 degrees F (air fryer setting) for 5-7 minutes, just long enough for the crust to get browned. Remove and let cool.
    • While the crust cools, prepare the filling. In a small mixing bowl, mix the heavy cream, sugar, peanut butter, and cream cheese, and mix until well blended.
    • Mix in the powdered sugar, and mix until smooth.
    • Spoon the topping into the crust, and then place into the refrigerator for about an hour before serving..
    • Plate, serve, and enjoy!
