Air Fryer Bruschetta -- It’s a hot summer day, and you are looking for a quick and easy meal. What do you reach for? Most likely, something that is made in the oven or on the stovetop. But what if there was an appliance that could make cooking even faster? Air fryers have been around for years, but they are slowly gaining popularity as people discover how convenient they can be.

Ingredients 

Bruschetta Ingredients:

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 4 oz burrata
  • 1 small shallot, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, chopped

Serving:

  • 1 baguette, sliced (optional)
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze

Instructions

  • Combine cherry tomatoes, chopped shallot, minced garlic, and olive oil in a baking dish. Toss to coat the tomatoes evenly.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F for 3-5 minutes. Then, roast the tomatoes in the preheated air fryer oven or basket for about 7-10 minutes or until they burst, releasing their juices.
  • Once the tomatoes are done, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool for about 5 minutes.
  • Then sprinkle chopped fresh basil over them, season with salt and pepper, and place the burrata on top of the tomatoes. Finish by drizzling balsamic glaze over the bruschettas. Serve with crostinis, crackers, or bread.
