Ingredients 

  • 5 tablespoons butter, unsalted and softened
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • 1 tesapoon chili flakes, optional
  • 1 teaspoon oregano, optional
  • 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated, optional
  • 1 large baguette, sliced or 4 small baguettes sliced vertically into 2 pieces.

Instructions

  • Slice the baguette or Italian bread in half lengthwise. If using a full loaf, you can also slice it into individual portions, depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • In a small bowl, combine the softened butter with minced garlic, chopped fresh parsley, and seasonings. If you’re using grated Parmesan cheese, mix it in as well. Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Spread the garlic butter mixture generously over the cut side of the bread. Make sure it’s evenly covered for the best flavor.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C) for about 3 minutes. Preheating helps to achieve an even crispiness.
  • Place the bread, buttered side up, in the air fryer basket. Air fry for about 4-6 minutes or until the bread is golden and crispy to your liking. If you have a smaller air fryer, you may need to do this in batches.
  • Once the garlic bread is nicely toasted, remove it from the air fryer. Let it cool for a minute before slicing into individual portions and serving.
