With Air Fryer Copycat In-N-Out Animal Fries, it doesn't matter what time of day or night it is because there's always a craving for these fries. And with this recipe, we're going to show you how to make your own!
Ingredients
- 2 large Russet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon butter, unsalted
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon French Fry Seasoning
- 4 slices American cheese
- 1/2 cup Thousand Island Dressing
Instructions
- Peel your potatoes. Cut them into long, fry-shaped lengths.
- Soak your potatoes in the water for about 30 minutes, then dry them.
- Spray the basket of your air fryer with cooking spray.
- Place them in your Air Fryer for 15 minutes at 370 degrees F, air fryer setting.
- Shake them halfway through at the 7-minute mark, then continue to cook.
- While the fries are cooking, heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Melt butter in a skillet.
- Add onions to the butter and sauté until they are golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- When the fries are done cooking, season them with French Fry Seasoning
- Arrange the seasoned fries on a serving plate. Layer the American cheese over the fries.
- Add cooked onions on top of the cheese and drizzle dressing over the top.
- Plate, serve, and enjoy!
