Description

If you're looking for a fun and festive way to enjoy donuts this holiday season, look no further than the air fryer! These gingerbread donuts are easy to make and taste amazing. Plus, they're a lot healthier than traditional fried donuts. So why not give them a try? Your taste buds will thank you!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 stick butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest, grated
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  • Start by adding your flour, cinnamon, baking soda, ground ginger, salt, and cloves to a large mixing bowl.
  • Then add the softened butter (to soften butter, I either leave it out on the counter for 30 minutes or put it in the microwave for about 15 seconds)
  • Then add in the brown sugar and eggs. Mix in the lemon zest, molasses, and milk.
  • Then spray your silicone donut and fill it with the prepared batter.
  • Set your air fryer temperature 320 degrees F, for 9 minutes. After 9 minutes check the donuts for doneness. If they are not cooked through, then add a minute or two, until cooked through.
  • .Plate, serve, and enjoy!

Equipment
