Description

How To Make Frozen Hamburgers In The Air Fryer-- What happens when you have a craving for a burger but no time to prepare? The answer is an air fryer frozen burger! Less than 15 minutes later, your mouth-watering, guiltless lunch or dinner can be on the table. All it takes is a few simple ingredients and an air fryer to create this easy meal!

Ingredients

  • 4 frozen burgers

Hamburger Toppings:

  • 4 slices Cheese Slices, optional
  • 4 pieces lettuce leaves, optional
  • 4 sliced tomatoes, optional
  • 4 hamburger buns, optional
  • ketchup, mustard, etc., optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Some models don't require preheating, but doing so can lead to a more even and quicker cook.
  • Prepare the Patties: If your burger patties have any wrapping or packaging, remove them. There's no need to thaw; they can go straight into the air fryer from the freezer.
  • Season (Optional): Although optional, you can season your frozen patties with salt, pepper, or your favorite burger seasoning on both sides for extra flavor.
  • Place the Patties in the Air Fryer: Arrange the frozen burger patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Ensure they're not touching to allow for proper air circulation.
  • Cooking Time: Cook for about 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through. The exact time will depend on the thickness of your patties and how well-done you like your burgers. Use a meat thermometer to ensure beef burgers reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) for safety.
  • Add Cheese (Optional): If you want cheeseburgers, add a slice of cheese to each patty during the last minute of cooking. The residual heat will perfectly melt the cheese.
  • Rest Before Serving: Let the cooked burgers rest for a few minutes after cooking. This step allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring your burger is juicy and flavorful.
  • Assemble Your Burger: Place your cooked burger patties on buns and add your favorite toppings and condiments. Suggestions include lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, ketchup, mustard, or mayo.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional
