Description

Crispy, zesty, and full of flavor, these Wingstop Lemon Pepper Wings are perfect baked or air fried at home. Easy to make, packed with bold lemon and pepper seasoning, and ready in under 30 minutes for the ultimate wing night.

Ingredients 

  • 2 pounds Chicken Wings
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Pepper Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt, adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Lemon Zest

Instructions

  • Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for 3-5 minutes.
  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels, then toss them in olive oil, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt for even coating.
  • Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden and crispy.
  • While the wings are cooking, melt butter in a small bowl and mix it with lemon pepper seasoning.
  • Once the wings are done, toss them in the lemon pepper butter mixture until fully coated.
  • Plate the wings, garnish with lemon zest or fresh herbs if desired, and serve with your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes

Oven Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
Arrange on a baking sheet: Line a sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top (optional for crispier wings). Spread wings in a single layer without overcrowding.
Bake: Cook for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure even browning.
Check for doneness: Wings should be golden, crispy, and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Serve: Let rest 5 minutes before serving with your favorite dipping sauce or celery sticks.
