Ingredients
- 6 ounce lime Jello
- 2 ½ cups boiling water
- 1 ½ cups vodka
- 1 drop brown gel food dye
- Gold star sprinkles, for decoration
- Red sanding sugar, for decoration
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine lime Jello and boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved.
- Pour in the vodka and stir until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
- Transfer 2 ounces of the Jello mixture to a small bowl. Add one drop of brown gel food dye and stir to create the tree trunk layer.
- Pour the brown Jello into one shot cup. Fill the remaining 19 cups evenly with the green Jello mixture.
- Refrigerate all cups for at least 2 hours, or until fully set.
- Arrange the cups on a flat surface in a Christmas tree shape:
- Top row: 1 cup
- Second row: 1 cup
- Third row: 2 cups
- Fourth row: 3 cups
- Fifth to seventh rows: 4 cups each
- Place the brown Jello cup at the bottom center as the trunk.
- Add gold star sprinkles to the top cup and red sanding sugar to five random green cups for a festive ornament effect.
