Description

Tender, juicy chicken cooked in Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce in the slow cooker. Perfect for sandwiches, rice, tacos, or quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients 

  • 4 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts , or thighs
  • 2 cups Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup water, or chicken broth, optional, for extra moisture

Instructions

  • Place 4 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs in the slow cooker, arranging them in an even layer.
  • Sprinkle2 teaspoons garlic powder, 2 teaspoons onion powder, and 1 teaspoon black pepper over the chicken.
  • Pour 2 cups Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce over the chicken, making sure each piece is coated evenly. Add 1/4 cup water or chicken broth if you like extra sauce.
  • Cover and cook on Low for 6–7 hours or High for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  • Optional: Remove the chicken and shred it with two forks right in the slow cooker. Stir it back into the sauce so every bite is coated.
