1largered bell pepper, finely diced

1cuproot beer
1cupketchup

1tablespoonyellow mustard
1teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonblack pepper
½teaspoongarlic powder

¼cupquick cooking oatmeal
12slider buns

Instructions
Add the 2 pounds ground beef, 1 small onion, 3 cloves garlic1 large green bell pepper, and 1 large red bell pepper to the slow cooker.
In a small bowl whisk together 1 cup root beer, 1 cup ketchup, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon yellow mustard, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper, ½ teaspoon garlic powder and ½ teaspoon onion powder, slowly fold in the ¼ cup quick cooking oatmeal.
Pour the sauce over the beef mixture and stir gently. Cover and cook on Low for 4 to 6 hours or High for 2 to 3 hours.
Spoon the sloppy joe mixture onto 12 slider buns. Add Optional sliced cheddar cheese or pickles for serving.
