Ingredients 

  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 4 tablespoons butter, unsalted, melted butter
  • 9-12 slice bread

Instructions

  • Preheat the Ninja Woodfire Grill to 350 degrees F, add about 1/2 cup of pellets.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and any other desired seasonings or flavors. Adjust the quantities based on the number of slices of bread you plan to use.
  • Dip slices of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring that both sides are coated. Let any excess mixture drip off.
  • Grease a casserole dish with cooking spray or melted butter. Add the soaked bread to the casserole dish. If you have any leftover French Toast batter, pour it over the soaked bread. Cook at 350 degrees F for 20-30 minutes.
  • Press the bread with a spatula to check for firmness. The French toast should be cooked through and slightly crispy.
  • Once the French toast is cooked to your liking, remove it from the grill and serve immediately. You can top it with syrup, fresh fruit, powdered sugar, or any other desired toppings.
