Notes
Notes:
We like to top our spaghetti bolognese with some freshly grated parmesan cheese or fresh basil.
You can use ground beef or ground sausage in this recipe. Sausage will add a slightly richer flavor and is an easy way to modify the flavor of your bolognese.
If you have fresh garlic then you can use 4 cloves of minced garlic instead of garlic powder.
You can store your bolognese in the fridge for up to a week in an airtight container. We like to store our bolognese in a large mason jar to keep the sauce fresh as long as possible.
If you don’t have any Italian seasoning on hand then you can make your own substitute by using ¼ tablespoon of oregano, thyme, basil, and onion powder.
Make sure you stir the sauce occasionally so the tomato sauce doesn’t burn on the bottom of your pot. The Ninja Foodi’s saute setting can get pretty hot.
