Remove the lid from the pot. Use the function arrows to select SEAR/SAUTÉ, set the temperature to HIGH, and press START/STOP to begin preheating. The progress bar will show the preheating process, which takes about 8 to 10 minutes.
Once preheating is complete (the unit will beep and display ADD FOOD), add Velveeta cheese, salsa, onions, jalapenos, milk, and seasonings. Set cook time for 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the cheese is slightly melted and the ingredients are well combined.
Stir well, and then set the cook time for 15-20 minutes, until the ingredients are well blended. Cook on high, slow cook setting.
Press START/STOP, use the function arrows to select KEEP WARM, and press START/STOP again to keep the dip warm while serving. Serve the dip warm with chips, pretzels, or your favorite chips.
