In a mixing bowl or the pint container, whisk together the 1 1/4 cup whole milk, 1/2 cup heavy cream, 2-3 tbsp dry vanilla ice cream mix, 2 tbsp granulated sugar, 2 tbsp caramel sauce, 1/4 tsp sea salt, and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract until well blended and the sugar is dissolved.
Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container, secure the lid, and freeze for 24 hours.
Once frozen, remove the pint from the freezer, take off the lid, and place it in the Ninja Creami. Select the "Gelato" function and churn until creamy.
After churning, taste the gelato. If you prefer a stronger salted caramel flavor, feel free to swirl in a bit more caramel sauce.
Enjoy immediately for a soft and creamy texture, or return it to the freezer for a firmer consistency.
