Description

Make rich, creamy Ninja Creami Salted Caramel Gelato at home with simple ingredients. Perfectly smooth, sweet-and-salty, and better than store-bought.

Ingredients 

  • 1 1/4 cup whole milk, or 2% for a lighter option
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2-3 tbsp dry vanilla ice cream mix
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp caramel sauce, store-bought or homemade
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt, adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, optional, for extra flavor

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl or the pint container, whisk together the 1 1/4 cup whole milk, 1/2 cup heavy cream, 2-3 tbsp dry vanilla ice cream mix, 2 tbsp granulated sugar, 2 tbsp caramel sauce, 1/4 tsp sea salt, and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract until well blended and the sugar is dissolved.
  • Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container, secure the lid, and freeze for 24 hours.
  • Once frozen, remove the pint from the freezer, take off the lid, and place it in the Ninja Creami. Select the "Gelato" function and churn until creamy.
  • After churning, taste the gelato. If you prefer a stronger salted caramel flavor, feel free to swirl in a bit more caramel sauce.
  • Enjoy immediately for a soft and creamy texture, or return it to the freezer for a firmer consistency.
