Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the pudding mix, milk, and heavy cream.
  • Pour the mixture into the Ninja pint bowl, place lid on bowl and freeze for 24 hours.
  • Once the ice cream base has set, follow the manufacturer's instructions to place the bowl in your Ninja Creami.
  • Select “Ice Cream” setting and blend the frozen ice cream base.
  • Gently stir in the caramel sauce and waffle cone pieces by hand.
  • Serve the ice cream in a bowl, cone or eat out of the pint bowl. Enjoy

Equipment

  • Ninja Creami Ice Cream Machine
  • Ninja Creami Pint Container
  • Ninja Creami Pint Container Lid

Notes

**To make the chocolate covered waffle cone pieces:
Melt 2 oz of melting chocolate in a microwaveable safe bowl, according to the package directions.  Break apart one waffle cone into small pieces.  Dip pieces in chocolate, and then set aside on wax paper until chocolate has set.

Notes:
Soft Serve Texture:** The Ninja Creami is designed to give the ice cream a soft serve texture. While it might not look exactly like Ben and Jerry’s from the store, it still tastes very similar.
Adjusting Consistency:** If the base is crumbly, add 1-2 tablespoons of heavy cream until you reach your desired consistency.
Hardening the Ice Cream:** If the ice cream is too soft, you can return it to the freezer for 1-2 hours to let it harden.
Mix-Ins:** This recipe calls for some mix-ins to be stirred by hand. Alternatively, you can add the  waffle cone pieces to the base and spin on the “Mix-in” setting.
