Ingredients
1 ½cupsheavy cream ,
1 ½cupswhole milk
¾cupgranulated sugar
1teaspoonvanilla extract
¼teaspoonalmond extract
1 ½cupspitted cherries, fresh or frozen
¼cupcherry syrup, or juice
1/4teaspoonsalt
Instructions
In a medium bowl, whisk together the 1 ½ cups heavy cream 1 ½ cups whole milk, ¾ cup granulated sugar , 1 teaspoon vanilla extract , ¼ teaspoon almond extract ¼ cup cherry syrup (or juice), and a 1/4 teaspoon salt until the sugar fully dissolves.
Chop the 1 ½ cups pitted cherries into small pieces. Stir half into the base and reserve the other half for later mix-ins.
Pour the mixture into your Ninja Creami pint container, secure the lid, and freeze for 24 hours until solid.
After freezing, remove the lid and place the container into the Ninja Creami machine. Run the Ice Cream function.
Once it’s blended, create a small well in the center and add the reserved cherries. Use the Mix-In function to gently fold them in.
