Indulge in a delightful twist on a classic favorite with Ninja Creami Boozy Cherry Garcia Ice Cream!
Ingredients
Ice Cream Base:
2cupsheavy cream
1cupwhole milk
3/4cupgranulated sugar
1/4cupcherry whiskey , any brand
1teaspoonvanilla extract
Mix-Ins:
1cupdark cherries, fresh, or frozen, cut in half
1/2cupchocolate chunks, semi-sweet
2tablespoonscherry syrup, optional
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, mix together the 2 cups heavy cream, 1 cup whole milk, 3/4 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup cherry whiskey , and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Whip until sugar has dissolved completely.
Pour mix into Ninja Creami pint container, but leave about a 1/2 inch of head space. Cover lid and freeze 24 hours standing up.
Add your pint of frozen ice cream to the Ninja Creami machine. Choose the “Ice Cream” setting and turn it on. Test texture, and repeat if necessary, for creaminess.
Remove the pint container from the Ninja Creami machine and use a spoon to clear a hole down to the bottom of the ice cream in the container. Place the 1/2 cup chocolate chunks and 1 cup dark cherries into the hole. Place the pint container back into the Ninja Creami Machine and process using the "Mix-In Setting."
Scoop into bowls or cones and serve immediately. Garnish with additional chopped-up chocolate or a drizzle of 1/2 cup chocolate chunks
