Recreate Longhorn Steakhouse Grilled Caesar Salad at home! Grilled romaine, creamy Caesar dressing, Parmesan, and croutons for a restaurant-style salad.
Ingredients
6largeRomaine lettuce hearts, washed and halved lengthwise
3tablespoonsOlive oil
1/2cupCaesar dressing,
1/3cupParmesan cheese, freshly grated
1cupCroutons ,
1tablespoonLemon juice
1/2teaspoonBlack pepper
2teaspoonsanchovy
Instructions
Wash and halve 6 large Romaine lettuce hearts lengthwise. Pat dry to remove excess moisture so they grill evenly.
Lightly brush both sides of the romaine halves with 3 tablespoons Olive oil. This helps prevent sticking and adds a smoky flavor.
Heat your grill to medium-high (about 400°F). Ensure grates are clean and lightly oiled.
Place the romaine halves cut-side down on the grill. Cook for 1–2 minutes per side until charred marks appear but lettuce remains crisp.
Transfer grilled romaine to a large serving platter. Drizzle with 1/2 cup Caesar dressing.
Sprinkle 11/3 cup Parmesan cheese and 1 cup Croutons over the salad. Optionally, add 2 teaspoons anchovy for authentic flavor.
Drizzle with 1 tablespoon Lemon juice and sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon Black pepperr. Serve immediately while lettuce is warm and smoky.
