Description

Recreate LongHorn Steakhouse's crispy, perfectly seasoned fries at home with this easy recipe—ideal for air frying or deep frying for the ultimate side dish!

Ingredients

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander

Instructions

  • Wash, peel, and cut the russet potatoes into evenly sized fries. Soak them in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F for 5 minutes. If frying, heat oil in a deep fryer or large pan to 375°F.
  • Drain the fries and pat them dry with paper towels. Toss them in olive oil spray and coat them evenly with the seasoning mix (salt, paprika, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, turmeric, and coriander).
  • Place the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they’re not overcrowded. Cook at 375°F for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Once golden and crispy, remove the fries from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Equipment

  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional
