2poundstri tip roast
1tablespoonolive oil
1½teaspoonssalt
1teaspoonblack pepper
1teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspoononion powder
1teaspoonpaprika
Instructions
Remove the tri tip from the refrigerator 20–30 minutes before cooking for even results.
Set your air fryer temperature to 400 degrees F and preheat for 3–5 minutes.
Pat the 2 pounds tri tip roast dry with paper towels. Rub with o1 tablespoon olive oil , then coat evenly with 1½ teaspoons salt , 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder and 1 teaspoon paprika.
Place the tri tip in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 400°F for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Use a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part.
130–135°F for medium-rare
135–145°F for medium
Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
