Description

This Jack In The Box Creamy Avocado Lime Sauce recipe is smooth, tangy, and packed with fresh flavor. Made with ripe avocado, lime juice, and sour cream, it’s perfect as a dip, spread, or drizzle for tacos, burgers, and more. An easy copycat you’ll want to make again and again!

Ingredients 

  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
  • 1 small jalapeño, seeded and chopped (optional for heat)

Instructions

  • In a food processor or blender, add the avocado, sour cream, lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  • Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  • If using cilantro and jalapeño, add them and pulse a few times until blended but still slightly textured.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning or lime juice as desired.
  • Transfer to a bowl for immediate use, or store in an airtight container in the fridge up to 3 days. To prevent browning, press plastic wrap directly onto the sauce surface before sealing.
