Ingredients
4cupsDiced potatoes, peeled or unpeeled, bite-sized cubes
1cupWater , or chicken broth
1teaspoonKosher salt , to taste
2teaspoonsOptional seasonings , black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, fresh herbs
2teaspoonsButter, or olive oil, for serving, optional
Instructions
Wash and dice potatoes into even, bite-sized pieces.
Pour 1 cup Water or broth and 4 cups Diced potatoes into the Instant Pot insert.
Add 1 teaspoon Kosher salt and any 2 teaspoons Optional seasonings .
Use a steamer basket or place directly in the liquid.
Close the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure.
Cook 4–5 minutes for 1-inch diced potatoes. Adjust time for smaller or larger pieces.
Carefully release the pressure once cooking is complete.
Potatoes should be tender but not mushy; cook an extra minute if needed.
