Description

Ina Garten’s Moroccan Grilled Lamb Chops are a perfect way to impress guests or elevate a family dinner. Ingredients 

  • 8 lamb chops, rib or loin, about 1-inch thick
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon, optional, for garnish
  • Fresh herbs, parsley, cilantro, or mint, optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons olive oil, minced 3 cloves garlic, 2 teaspoons ground cumin, 2 teaspoons ground coriander, 1 teaspoon paprika, ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, t½ teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon salt and½ teaspoon black pepper.
  • Rub the marinade all over the 8 lamb chops. Let them sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes, or refrigerate for a few hours for deeper flavor.
  • Heat a grill to medium-high. You can also use a grill pan on the stove if preferred.
  • Grill the lamb chops 3–5 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting time for thickness and desired doneness.
  • Remove the lamb from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with 1 lemon, lemon juice and Fresh herbs if desired, then serve.
