Description

This Greek-Inspired Bread Dipping Oil is a flavorful blend of olive oil, garlic, herbs, and lemon—perfect for dipping bread, pita, or drizzling over Mediterranean dishes.

Ingredients 

  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, optional
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice , or red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, pour the olive oil and add the minced garlic, oregano, basil, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Stir in the lemon juice or red wine vinegar to balance the oil’s richness.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste, and mix well to combine.
  • Allow the dipping oil to sit for 10–15 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
  • Serve with warm, crusty bread, pita, or breadsticks. Enjoy!
