This Greek-Inspired Bread Dipping Oil is a flavorful blend of olive oil, garlic, herbs, and lemon—perfect for dipping bread, pita, or drizzling over Mediterranean dishes.
Ingredients
½cupextra virgin olive oil
2clovesgarlic, minced
1teaspoondried oregano
½teaspoondried basil
¼teaspooncrushed red pepper flakes, optional
1tablespoonlemon juice , or red wine vinegar
1teaspoonSalt, to taste
1/2teaspoonblack pepper, to taste
Instructions
In a small bowl, pour the olive oil and add the minced garlic, oregano, basil, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).
Stir in the lemon juice or red wine vinegar to balance the oil’s richness.
Add salt and pepper to taste, and mix well to combine.
Allow the dipping oil to sit for 10–15 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
