This easy copycat recipe brings the bold, savory flavor of Golden Corral's classic Sausage and Peppers right to your kitchen. With juicy sausage, sweet bell peppers, and tender onions, it’s a quick, one-pan meal perfect for weeknights or casual family dinners. Serve it over rice, pasta, or stuffed into hoagie rolls for a hearty, satisfying dish.

Ingredients 

  • 1 lb smoked sausage links, sliced into rounds
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced into strips
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced into strips
  • 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Slice sausage, peppers, and onion. In a large bowl, toss with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Preheat to 380°F (193°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  • Place everything in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 380°F for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway through, until sausage is browned and veggies are tender.
  • Serve over rice, pasta, or inside hoagie rolls. Garnish with parsley or shredded cheese if desired.
