Description

Learn how to make perfectly seared Frontier Scallops at home. Tender, buttery scallops with garlic, lemon, and fresh herbs—restaurant-quality in minutes.

Ingredients 

  • 2 pounds Fresh sea scallops ,
  • 3 tablespoons Butter ,
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil ,
  • 3 cloves Garlic , minced
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice ,
  • 1 teaspoon Salt , to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh herbs , chopped parsley or chives for garnish

Instructions

  • Pat 2 pounds Fresh sea scallops dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Season lightly with 1 teaspoon Salt and 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper.
  • In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons Olive oil and a 33 tablespoons Butter over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Place scallops in the pan, leaving space between each. Sear for 2–3 minutes on one side without moving until golden brown. Flip and sear another 1–2 minutes until opaque in the center.
  • Add minced 3 cloves Garlic and 2 tablespoons Lemon juice . Toss gently to coat and remove from heat immediately to prevent overcooking.
  • Plate scallops and garnish with 2 tablespoons Fresh herbs . Serve alongside your favorite sides like rice, vegetables, or a light salad.
