Ingredients
½cupsourdough discard
1cupAll-Purpose Flour
¼cupSugar
1teaspoonBaking Powder
½teaspoonBaking Soda
¼teaspoonSalt
1largeEgg
¼cupMilk
2tablespoonsButter, melted
1teaspoonVanilla Extract
Optional: Powdered Sugar
Optional: Glaze, ¼ cup powdered sugar + ½ teaspoon milk or lemon juice
Oven Method: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan and fill each cavity about ¾ full with batter. Bake 12–15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool before glazing or topping.Skillet / Pan-Fry Option: Heat a lightly greased skillet over medium heat. Spoon batter into small rounds and cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Cool completely before adding glaze or powdered sugar.
