Description

Easy waffle recipe without milk that makes fluffy, golden waffles using simple pantry ingredients. Perfect dairy-free breakfast for busy mornings or weekend brunch.

Ingredients 

  • 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups Water
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Plug it in and let the waffle iron fully preheat so the waffles crisp instead of limp.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour, 2 1/2 teaspoons Baking powder, 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon Salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk 2 large Eggs, 1 1/4 cups Water,1/4 cup Vegetable oil, and 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined. A few small lumps are fine — overmixing makes tough waffles.
  • Grease the waffle iron, by Lightly spray or brush with oil so nothing sticks..
  • Pour batter into the hot waffle iron, close the lid, and cook 4–6 minutes until golden and crisp.
  • Top with syrup, fruit, powdered sugar, or whatever makes your morning better.
