Description

This Easy Pioneer Woman’s Cheeseburger Pie is a comforting, family-friendly dinner with juicy ground beef, melted cheese, and a golden, fluffy Bisquick crust. Perfect for weeknights or potlucks!

Ingredients 

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • Optional toppings: pickles, bacon bits, ketchup, mustard,

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the 1 lb ground beef and chopped 1 small onion until browned. Drain any excess fat, then season with 1 teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 cups Bisquick baking mix, 1 cup milk, and 2 large eggsuntil smooth. Pour the batter evenly over the beef and cheese layers.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and set in the center.
  • Allow to cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm with Optional toppings: pickles, bacon bits, ketchup, mustard
