18large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
9slicesthin bacon, halved
¼cupbarbecue sauce, for brushing
½tspgarlic powder
½tspblack pepper
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
Preheat to 400°F (200°C) for air fryer, or 425°F (220°C) for oven.
Pat 18 large raw shrimp dry with paper towels.
Wrap each shrimp with a half slice of 9 slices thin bacon securing with a toothpick if needed.
Sprinkle ½ tsp garlic powder and ½ tsp black pepper over the shrimp, then lightly brush with ¼ cup barbecue sauce.
Air Fryer: Place shrimp in a single layer, cook 8–10 minutes at 400°F, flipping halfway.
Oven: Bake 12–15 minutes at 425°F, flipping halfway, until bacon is crispy and shrimp are cooked through.
Remove toothpicks and serve hot with Lemon wedges and extra barbecue sauce.
