1loafBread, Round Sesame Italian Loaf
1/2poundDeli Ham, sliced
1/2poundGenoa Salami, Thinly Sliced
8slicesProvolone Cheese
1 1/2cupsOlive Salad, or Giardiniera mix
4slicesSliced Swiss Cheese, optional
Instructions
Slice the 1 loaf Bread horizontally. Pull out a small amount of the soft bread from the center of the top and bottom to create a "well" for the fillings.
Spread 3/4 cup of the olive salad (including the oil) onto the bottom half of the bread. Spread the remaining 3/4 cup on the top half.
On the bottom half, layer the 1/2 pound Deli Ham, then the 1/2 pound Genoa Salami, 8 slices Provolone Cheese , and 4 slices Sliced Swiss Cheese.
Place the top bread half over the cheese. Wrap the entire sandwich very tightly in heavy-duty aluminum foil.
Place the wrapped sandwich in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C). Bake for 20 minutes until the bread is warm and the cheese has completely melted.
Remove from the oven. Let it sit (still wrapped) for 5 minutes. Unwrap and use a serrated knife to cut into 6 even wedges.
