This easy Ina Garten Sausage and Herb Stuffing is rich, savory, and packed with flavor. Made with buttery bread, juicy sausage, and fresh herbs, it’s the ultimate comfort side dish for holiday dinners.
Ingredients
10cupsbread cubes, stale
1lbsausage, crumbled and cooked
1/2cupbutter
1cuponion, diced
1cupcelery, chopped
2tbspfresh sage, chopped
1tbspfresh thyme, chopped
2tbspparsley, chopped
1 1/2cupschicken broth
2largeeggs, beaten
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a baking dish.
Toast 10 cups bread cubes if not already stale.
Cook 1 lb sausage until browned; set aside.
Sauté 1 cup onion and 1 cup celery in 1/2 cup butter until soft.
Combine bread, sausage, vegetables, 2 tbsp fresh sage, 1 tbsp fresh thyme, and 2 tbsp parsley in a large bowl.
Add 1 1/2 cups chicken broth and 2 large eggs; mix well. Add Salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer to prepared baking dish; bake 35–40 minutes until golden.
