Ingredients 

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup heavy cream, warmed
  • 5 tbsp salted butter
  • 2 tsp cinnamon,
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp Flaky salt, optional

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add granulated sugar. Stir constantly with a wooden spoon or heat-resistant spatula as it melts into a rich amber syrup.
  • Carefully stir in the salted butter until fully melted and smooth.
  • Slowly pour in the warm heavy cream, stirring continuously. The mixture may bubble, so pour cautiously until smooth.
  • Stir in cinnamon and kosher salt until evenly blended.
  • Allow the dip to simmer for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to your desired consistency.
  • Remove from heat, let cool slightly, and drizzle over desserts, ice cream, or pancakes. Garnish with flaky salt and serve with cinnamon sugar pita chips.
