Ingredients 

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese,
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese ,
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg, optional
  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning, optional

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt 4 tbsp unsalted butter until bubbly.
  • Stir in minced 2 cloves garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant — avoid browning.
  • Slowly add 1 cup heavy cream, whisking continuously to combine and prevent scorching.

  • Add ½ tsp salt , ¼ tsp black pepper , and optional ¼ tsp nutmeg or ¼ tsp Italian seasoning to taste.
