Description

Tender, juicy shrimp tossed in bold Cajun spices. Quick, easy, and perfect for weeknight dinners, seafood feasts, or flavorful appetizers.

Ingredients 

  • 1 lb 450 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Peel and devein 1 lb 450 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined if needed, then pat dry with paper towels.
  • Toss shrimp with 2 tsp Cajun seasoning, ½ tsp salt, and ¼ tsp black pepper until evenly coated.
  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp unsalted butter with 2 tbsp olive oil over medium heat. Add minced 3 cloves garlic and sauté for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the seasoned shrimp in a single layer. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  • Squeeze 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice over shrimp and toss with 2 tbsp fresh parsley. Remove from heat.
  • Enjoy over rice, pasta, or in tacos for a quick, flavorful meal.

Other Cooking Methods

  • Oven-Baked: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place shrimp on a parchment-lined sheet in a single layer. Bake 8–10 minutes until pink.
  • Air Fryer: Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Cook shrimp in a single layer for 6–8 minutes, shaking halfway.
  • Grill: Skewer shrimp and grill 2–3 minutes per side until opaque and slightly charred.
